The duties include, among other things, student advising and course administration.

Your background

A requirement is that you are studying the Landscape Architecture or Landscape Engineering programme at SLU in Uppsala, in year 3–5. At the start of employment, you must have completed the advanced course in land surveying/planning, as guidance in AutoCAD is one of the tasks.

You are meticulous and structured in your work approach.

Experience with levelling, plant knowledge, and digital image processing is meritorious.

Personal qualities are given great weight.

About us

The Department of Urban and Rural Development offers undergraduate and postgraduate education, research, and collaboration across five divisions: agricultural history, landscape architecture, rural development, environmental communication, and the division for political science and natural resource management, which includes Sida's helpdesk for environmental assessment. The department also hosts the Centre for Nature Guidance (CNV). It is SLU's largest department for social sciences, humanities, and design. Questions regarding the sustainable use of natural resources and landscapes are central to the department's research, teaching, and collaboration. Approximately 160 people are employed at the department.

Location:

Uppsala

Employment type:

Hourly paid employment; special fixed-term employment.

This means you will be offered work during shorter periods within the timeframe specified below under "Scope". You can accept or decline each offer. When you accept one or more work assignments, a new employment contract is established for those assignments.

Scope:

The employment period is from 1 September 2026 to 15 June 2027. You will be offered work when needs arise. This may involve single occasions or several rounds. You do not need to be available for the entire period.
